The PACT Act
The PACT Act adds more than 20 burn pit and toxic exposure related conditions, along with an expansion of presumptive locations for Agent Orange and radiation exposures. It expands VA health care eligibility for toxic-exposed veterans of the Vietnam era, Gulf War era, and Post 9-11 combat veterans. If veterans and survivors feel they may be eligible, we encourage them to apply by filing a claim now. VA considers the presumptive conditions established in the PACT Act to be applicable on the date the PACT Act was signed into law, August 10, 2022.
