Parent Support Outreach Program (PSOP)
The Parent Support Outreach Program (PSOP) is an early intervention program that provides short-term voluntary support for at risk children and families identified through internal screenings, third parties, or self-referrals.
What is PSOP?
This voluntary services program can connect you to support and assistance for many types of issues, which may include:
- Basic needs (food, clothing and housing)
- Family health concerns (medical care, mental and chemical health services)
- Parenting
- Transportation
- Child care
- Financial needs (budgeting and financial assistance)
- Overall support
The PSOP focuses on a family’s strengths and needs, and helps parents who want to do what is best for their children. This program can connect families with community resources that provide the specific kind of help families may want or need.
Participation is voluntary. Getting help to meet your family’s needs, even for a short period of time, can make a difference to you and your family.
For more information, contact Human Services.
To make a referral (either for yourself or on behalf of another), complete the PSOP referral form online. A complete printable or fillable version is also available; submit it to Human Services in person or via email at [email protected].
