Aging Resource Coordination
The Aging Resource Coordinator connects older adults and their families with local programs, services, and resources in Otter Tail County. They advocate for the needs of older adults and support residents in embracing healthy aging and managing life transitions.
Services provided by the Coordinator are free of charge.

Assistance for older adults
The Aging Resource Coordinator can provide information and resources on a variety of topics:
- Advanced planning
- Community outreach events
- Group education sessions
- Financial assistance programs
- Home delivered meals
- Housing options & resources
- Local services and supports for older adults
- Medicare enrollment
- Transportation
Support for caregivers
Caregivers help individuals who are unable to fully care for themselves due to age, disability, illness, or other circumstances. They may provide care to a friend, neighbor, spouse, parent or other family member. Available support for caregivers include:
- Caregiver consultants
- Care planning tools
- In-home services
- Respite
- Support groups
