Oversize/Overweight Moving
A permit is needed for moving oversized structures, wider than 8’6″, longer than 60′ and overweight loads. Please contact the Highway Department for information regarding overweight loads.
The permit is intended for oversize, overweight equipment and building moving on county roads. A permit for movement is required if equipment and or vehicles including load exceed the following legal limitations: (example)
Please note: If you are moving a used mobile home, a Tax Clearance Sheet is required and can be obtained from the Assessor’s office.
