West Central MN Training Consortium
West Central Minnesota Training Consortium is comprised of area law enforcement agencies who pool resources to offer high quality training to its members.
Membership
Member agencies will be given priority registration for training classes. Membership is based on the number of officers in your department.

Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office, Wadena County Sheriff’s Office, Todd County Sheriff’s Office, Becker County Sheriff’s Office, Frazee Police Department, Pelican Rapids Police Department, Parkers Prairie Police Department, Henning Police Department, Battle Lake Police Department, Wadena Police Department, Osakis Police Department, Sebeka Police Department, Callaway Police Department, New York Mills PD, Akeley Police Department.
Class Registration
Registration for classes must be completed at least 1 week prior to the class start date. Registration can be completed by calling Lori Windels at 218-998-8951, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or by email [email protected].

2026 Fee Schedule
$200 per officer for 1-5 officers
$175 per officer for 6 -10 officers
$150 per officer for 11 or more officers
Training Location
Most of the training sessions are held at the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Operations Center. Some courses may be held at alternate sites which will be stated in the Training Classes Flyer.
Cancellation Policy
Because spots for classes are limited in size agencies must notify Lori Windels a minimum of 2 days (48 hours) prior the start of the class that they will be unable to attend. Failure to do so will cost the department $25 for each non-cancellation. A waiting list will be established for cancellation replacements and will be filled by order of the waiting list for the class.
