Overview of Rave Facility and How to Get Started

What if there is a fire, a medical emergency, or active threat at your business or organization? When you dial 9-1-1 under stress, you may not have access to important details, or you may have trouble remembering them. Rave Facility is a service provided by Otter Tail County that allows you to create a secure facility profile that includes details you want the Sheriff’s Office dispatch center and public safety responders to know about your facility in an emergency, including:
- Geographic layout – including parking lots and outdoor areas
- Detailed information on all buildings on site
- Floor plans, utility access and shutoff locations
- Gate or access codes
- Key points of contact
- Landline phone numbers within a building
When any landline or mobile phone dials 9-1-1 in your facility or on the property, your profile will automatically display to the 9-1-1 call taker. This allows them to send responders based on up-to-date location and emergency information.
How Will My Facility Benefit from Rave Facility?
Fire: Your Facility Profile will save time by providing firefighters building layouts and utility information.
Medical Emergency: Gate codes and access points will be available, allowing EMS access to help treat the victim faster.
Active Threat: Law enforcement can use building details, property layouts, and key contacts to coordinate their response.
