Otter Tail County Housing and Redevelopment Authority Board
The mission of the Otter Tail County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) is to promote the creation, preservation, and access to a range of safe, decent, and affordable housing options and to provide opportunities for community investment, greater housing stability and economic self-reliance.
The Otter Tail County HRA was established in 1973 to remedy the shortage of affordable housing in the county and to redevelop areas that may be in substandard condition and have a detrimental effect on neighboring properties.
The County Housing Authority Board of Commissioners is appointed by the Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners, who oversee the programs and operations. Programs include rental assistance for income eligible families and seniors, a scattered site affordable home program for income eligible households, down payment assistance, first time home buyer mortgage financing, and a variety of rehabilitation programs for homeowners, rental landlords, and businesses.
