Watersheds
Otter Tail County is an active participant in watershed planning and activities. There are 8 One-Watershed One-Plan planning areas in Otter Tail County. Each planning area has a watershed plan that identifies issues, priorities, goals and objectives to improve the water quality in that watershed. Once completed, each watershed is provided non-competitive grant funds from the Clean Water Legacy funding to accomplish the goals and objectives in the plan.
