Obtaining an Absentee Ballot Application
To obtain an Absentee Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) for each person who will be voting by absentee, visit the MN Secretary of State website for the downloadable applications.
Email, fax or mail your completed Federal Post Card Application to the Otter Tail County Elections Office as soon as possible.
Military and Overseas Absentee Voting
Ballots will be issued to you 45 days before each election or after receiving your Federal Post Card Application. A postage-paid return envelope will be included with your mailed ballot. Ballots must be received in the Otter Tail County Elections Office before the polls close on Election Day so promptly return your ballots. Voted ballots will not be accepted if faxed or emailed.
