CSAH 6 at Nelson Lake

Otter Tail County is proposing to increase the grade of CSAH 6 as it crosses Nelson Lake near Parkers Prairie in Otter Tail County, MN. Nelson Lake water levels have risen and remained high for several years resulting in overtopping CSAH 6. The flooding has been extensive enough to result in road closures for public safety. The road will be designed to prevent flooding of CSAH 6 that causes infrastructure damage, road closures, and public safety problems while meeting current design standards and requirements. The grade raise that is proposed ranges between 1 and 3 feet from top of current grade.
