Parks & Trails

Otter Tail County is committed to developing long range strategic plans, goals, policies and strategies related to current and future public infrastructure and investments within the County, including parks, trails and other public amenities. This infrastructure is a key component of the quality of life for residents throughout all areas of the County.

Primary Responsibilities & Services

Expanding and maintaining parks and trails is a goal of the County with the objective to provide a trail system that emphasizes a connection with the natural environment while also providing connection to urban and suburban areas in the county. Preserving natural resources as valuable open space is another important aspect for the County.
